Big Man/Point Guard Specialty Camp – June 18-19, 2009
(for boys entering grades 7-12 in fall 2009)
The Wittenberg University men's basketball program is the all-time winningest NCAA Division III program in the country. Taking all NCAA programs into account, the Tigers have the fourth-best winning percentage which places them in front of such programs as Duke, Kansas and UCLA.
Resident campers stay in Firestine Residence Hall which is also air-conditioned. It is located approximately 75 yards from the HPER Center. Camp coaches reside in the same dormitory as campers and provide session breaks and evening supervision. Roommate assignments are made according to registration form requests. Others will be paired with campers of comparable age range.
Resident and commuter campers eat meals on a daily basis in the Central Dining Room (CDR) which is located in the University's Student Center. The CDR, which is also air-conditioned for the camper's comfort, serves meals on an all-you-can-eat and drink buffet plan. This dining facility is located only 125 yards from Firestine Hall.
