WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Gabe Savage (Lewisburg, Ohio/Tri-County North) continued his strong 2007 season on Saturday at the Otterbein Fall Invitational. Leading the Tiger men to a 10th-place finish in a 16-team field, he placed 29th overall. Alissa Goble (Sunfield, Mich./Lakewood) led the Tiger women for the first time this season, finishing 44th overall, on the way to a 10th-place team finish against the same 16-team competition.

Also finishing in the top 60 for the women were Margaret Nevin (Darien, Conn./Darien), Kara Clunk (Radnor, Ohio/Buckeye Valley), and Megan Poling (Medina, Ohio/Highland) in 50th, 54th and 59th places respectively.

The men had only one other top-60 finish, turned in by freshman Kevin Frick (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview) who came in at number 47, adding to his already solid first-year resume, which includes a team-leading performance in the first meet. The next best finish for the men came from Ben McCombs (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington), finishing in 63rd place.
