Wittenberg at Kenyon, April 12, 2000



Wittenberg traveled to Kenyon to play its third conference game. Kenyon scored two goals at the beginning of the quarter. The Tigers answered with two goals from Shawn Egan to tie the game. Kenyon scored one more goal to take a 3 ­ 2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Wittenberg's offense continued to play well in the second quarter holding Kenyon to one goal. Kenyon had a 4 ­ 2 lead at the half.

Wittenberg's defense couldn't get on track in the third quarter. Kenyon scored seven goals to take a 11 ­ 2 lead at the end of the third.

The Tiger offense and defense got back on track in the fourth. Kenyon scored two goals. Wittenberg's Billy Habermeyer scored a goal assisted by Todd Dillon.

Kenyon won the game 13 ­ 3.

John Bodin and Carmine Baronie led the Tiger's in ground balls with 5 each. Charlie Hamilton had nine saves. Trip Way had five saves.
