Roth, Habermeyer, Cassani, Andy Stone, Shawn Egan and Jon Sonntag scored assisted by Mark Burrell, Jeff Collins, Cassani and Habermeyer. The defense slipped a little allowing Marietta to score two goals just before the half but the Tigers took a 19-2 lead at intermission.
The third quarter the Tigers began to play younger players on both offense and defense. Wittenberg scored on a goal by Habermeyer assisted by Stone. The defense continued to play strong, not allowing Marietta to score. The score at the end of three periods was 20-2 Tigers.
