The Tiger offense and defense continued to play well in the second quarter. The offense score three goals and the defense held St. Vincent's to one goal. Habermeyer and Cassani scored assisted by Mark Burrell and Habermeyer. Burrell scored the third goal unassisted. Wittenberg had an 8-2 lead at the half.
Wittenberg continued to play well in the third quarter scoring three goals and holding St. Vincent's to two goals. Cassani scored twice assisted by Habermeyer and Burrell scored unassisted. The Tigers had an 11-4 lead at the end of the third quarter. Wittenberg played its younger players in the fourth quarter and they played well. The offense controlled the pace of the end of the game by possessing the ball. St. Vincent's scored three goals making the final score 11 -7 Tigers.
Goalie Michael Oliver had another strong game with 13 saves. Eric Clapp led the Tigers in groundballs with seven and Dan Hillerich followed with five.
