During the second quarter Wooster battled back scoring a goal bringing them within one goal. Before the half Wittenberg's offense answered when Nate Reed scored two unassisted goals to make the score at the half 6-3 Witt.
The Tiger offense came out firing in the third scoring on its first three shots from Shawn Egan, Chris Gruber, and Alex Nichols scored a goal assisted by Dan Hillerich. Wittenberg's defense played tough holding Wooster scoreless in the third. Witenberg had a 9-3 lead at the end of the third.
Witt continued to play well in the fourth scoring 3 goals Billy Habermeyer scored 2 goals assisted by Dan Patterson and Tim Schuckman. Wooster wasnąt finished, scoring 2 goals of their own. Alex Nichols scored Witt's final goal giving Witt a 12-5 win.
