Tigers Sweep Past Ohio Wesleyan In Home Opener

On the men's side, double event-winners were freshman Neil Anderson in the 200 and 500 freetstyle, senior Sean Wolf in the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle, and senior Cody Nicely in both diving events. In addition, freshman Taylor Smith won the 100 backstroke, and junior Cory Schramm captured the 1000 freestyle and the Tigers were victorious in the 200 medley relay, which included Smith, freshman Brad Szerlip, senior Matt Reiss, and junior Brian Harris.
For the women, double winners were junior Courtney Roth in both diving events and freshman Adeline Brym in the 500 freestyle and the 200 Individual Medley. Other individual winners included freshman Kristin Elber in the 200 freestyle, freshman Janna House in the 50 freestyle, freshman Amy Prugh in the 100 butterfly, junior Lindsay Smith in the 100 freestyle, senior Jen Mulligan in the 100 backstroke, and freshman Katie Johnson in the 100 breaststroke. iN addition, Mulligan, Prugh, Johnson, and House captured first place in the 200 medley relay.
The Tigers return to action Saturday at 1 p.m. at national powerhouse DePauw.
