TIGERS EARN ALL-NORTH COAST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE HONORS IN MEN'S TENNISFor immediate release Written: May 15, 2000 SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--- Three Wittenberg University menžs tennis players were selected to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference team for their performances this season. Junior Bryan Heft (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) finished the season with a 16-5 overall mark to earn first team honors for the second consecutive year. He was a second team all-conference pick his freshman year. Earning honorable mention honors was freshman Casey Clagett(Steamboat Springs, Col./Steamboat Springs) who finished his first collegiate season with a 13-7 overall mark. Earning second team honors in doubles was junior Mark Swart (Holland, Mich./Holland) and Clagett. They finished the 2000 season with a 10-12 record at the first doubles position. Head coach Dave Engle was selected the NCAC Coach of the Year for the first time in his four-year career at Wittenberg. He guided the Tigers to a 17-7 record and a third-place finish in the NCAC.
