MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Another stop on the Tiger track and field itinerary continues to gear up Craig Penney's men and women for the championship season ahead. In the unscored meet hosted by Phodes College, the Tigers turned in more early-season performances in Memphis, Tenn.

Men's middle-distance freshman Jarrett Cowgill (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) set a strong time in his 1,500 as well, pacing a 4:12.63. Sophomore Kevin Frick (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview) added a 10,000 meter time of 33:07.60 to the Wittenberg resume on the day.

In the long sprints, Jordan Stafford (Springfield, Ohio/Greenon) ran well amongst Division I competition with a time of 1:01.21 in the 400 meters. Classmate Catherine Kuerbitz (Cleveland, Ohio/Regina) came in close on her heels with a 1:01.81.
