The Tiger trio will be playing for the south team in the event, which features seniors from soccer programs throughout the state. There is no distinction between NCAA and NAIA, nor Division I, II or III. The men's game follows the women's all-star contest at noon.
Armstrong, a forward on the 2002 team that finished 7-10-1 overall and 5-4 in the rugged North Coast Athletic Conference last fall, led the Tigers and the NCAC in scoring with 14 goals and six assists for 34 total points in 2002. He earned first-team All-NCAC honors. Also an honors student majoring in physics, Armstrong is a native of Delaware, Ohio and was a standout for Dublin Coffman High School prior to his collegiate career. He was a four-year letterwinner for the Tigers.
Lapish was a starting midfielder for the 2002 team and a four-year letterwinner. A native of Grosse Pointe, Mich., Lapish finished the season with one goal in 17 starts. Lapish earned second-team All-NCAC honors.
Curtis was a two-year captain and four-year letterwinner for the Tigers. In 2002, he showed great versatility, starting most of the games in the field as a defensive back, but also helping out in goal in four games. A Dublin, Ohio native, Curtis finished the campaign with 10 total points, including eight assists. Curtis was an all-conference and third-team All-Great Lakes Region selection in 2000.
