SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — As usual, summer will be a busy time around the Wittenberg University athletic complex. Eight different Wittenberg varsity athletic teams - men's basketball, women's basketball, field hockey, football, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball - as well as the cheerleading squad, a club sport at Wittenberg, are sponsoring summer camps this year.

The football program is hosting an individual skills camp June 5-7 and a 7-on-7 team camp July 8. Men's soccer Head Coach Steve Dawson is hosting five Great Britain Buckeye Soccer Camps this summer in three different locations. Camps will take place at Wittenberg June 19-23 and July 10-14, in Kettering June 26-30 and July 17-21 and in Wapakoneta July 24-28.
