| Third Annual Wittenberg University football golf outing set for June 16 | ||

Posted May 16 2001, 05:18 pm Posted by: Ryan Maurer SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — For the third consecutive year, the Wittenberg University football program is hosting a golf outing. This year’s event is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 at Reid Memorial Golf Course.
The event will be a four-man scramble with a shotgun start, and it will include prizes, raffles, dinner and awards. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, closest to the helmet, longest putt, lowest team score and a putting contest. Cost of the event is $75 per golfer, or $50 to attend the dinner without playing golf. All proceeds from this year’s event will go toward the purchase of audio-visual equipment, computer software and field equipment.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for $100 (hole sponsor), $150 (hole sponsor and door prize) and $300 (hole sponsor, door prize and sponsor plaque). Premier sponsorship packages are also available.
