SPRINGFIELD, Ohio---Seven former Tiger athletes and a past university president are the newest inductees into Wittenberg University's Athletics Hall of Honor. The inductees, who will be formally honored December 7, 1991 during halftime of the Wittenberg-Wooster basketball game, are: Roy "Skeeter" Allen '63 (football and baseball) of Akron; Kati Biszantz '75 (golf, bowling, basketball, badminton) of Tustin, Cal.; Steve Drongowski '74 (football) of Dublin, Ohio; Jim Feltz '69 (football) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Dr. Jane Good '70 (tennis, basketball, swimming) of Annapolis, Md.; Bob Hamilton '34 (basketball, tennis, baseball) of Springfield; Cliff Heskett (track, basketball) of Springfield and the late Clarence Stoughton, president of Wittenberg from 1949 to 1963.

Allen was captain of the Tiger football and baseball teams in 1963. An all-Ohio Athletic Conference end for two years, he was MVP as a senior. He lettered in both sports for four years. A native of Alliance, Allen is now chairman of Thermo-Rite Manufacturing and Atwater Strong Co. and executive vice president of Buckeye Corrugated, Inc.

Biszantz participated in bowling, golf, basketball and badminton while at Wittenberg. In 1974 she was runnerup in the Ohio intercollegiate golf championship and was the winner in her flight of the National North-South Amateur Championship. She was an LPGA touring professional from 1979-81. A native of Cleveland, Biszantz is a graduate of Lake Ridge Academy. She is now an LPGA teaching professional at La Mirada Country Club in La Mirada, Cal.

Drongowski was chosen to five all-America football teams in 1973 after helping the Tigers to the NCAA Division III championship as a team tri captain. He was the OAC most valuable offensive lineman in 1973. A graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School, Drongowski now lives in Dublin, Ohio.

Feltz received the football team's Golden Helmet Award in 1967 and 1968. A four-year letterwinner, he was first team all-OAC three times as a defensive lineman. In 1968 he was first team All-America on the coaches' team and second team by Associated Press. A graduate of Glassport (Pa.) High School, Feltz is owner of James R. Feltz Construction Co. in Pittsburgh.

Good participated basketball, swimming and tennis at Wittenberg. She was captain and leading scorer in basketball for three years and captain and first singles and doubles player in tennis. Good and teammate Kristy Wray won the Ohio state doubles championship in 1969. A native of Akron and a graduate of Firestone High School, Good is currently professor of history and and assistant dean at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Hamilton was a standout in basketball, baseball and tennis at Wittenberg before graduating in 1934. He was a member of the 1.933 Buckeye Conference basketball championship team. Hamilton had a unique position of both coaching and playing on the tennis team. A longtime employee of the Springfield Newspapers, he retired as president of the News-Sun in 1978.

Heskett set an OAC record in the mile run in 1940 and reportedly was the first Wittenberg player to score 300 points in a season in basketball.

Stoughton is the first non-athlete or coach to be inducted into the Wittenberg Hall of Honor. He is credited with starting the Wittenberg winning tradition in football and basketball by hiring Bill Edwards as athletic director and football coach and Ray Mears as basketball coach in 1956. A native of Rochester, N.Y., Stoughton was president of Wittenberg from 1949 to 1963. He died August 31, 1975.
