Ice Cream Social

This fall, SAAC hosted an Ice Cream Social for all Wittenberg Student-Athletes.

Toys for Tots

This year SAAC asked each student athlete to donate $1 in order to help a deserving family this Christmas. SAAC will use the money to buy the family necessities as well as a few gifts. We were able to raise over $200! SAAC representatives will be delivering the gifts to the family on Wednesday, December 17.

Take a Kid to a Game Day

This winter, during a home Men's Basketball game, Wittenberg will be having a Take a Kid to a Game Day. This will be a chance for families to bring their children to a game for free.

Cash Give-Aways at Home Games!

This year SAAC has come up with a new way to increase attendance at home games -- Cash prizes of $50. Every student in the university is entered into the drawing, at designated home games there will be a name chosen. If that person is at the game they win $50 in cash. If they are not at the game, the money will roll-over to the next designated game, increasing the prize to $100! The money will continue to roll-over until the lucky person chosen is at the game when they are called. So make sure you check the SAAC website for the next Cash Give-Away game and come support our Tigers!

Blood Drive

This January, Wittenberg will be having a blood drive. We will be competing against the College of Wooster. The results will be announced at the home Men's Basketball game against Wooster.

J.J. Jumper

J.J. Jumper is the official mascot of NCAA basketball. This year we have arranged for J.J. Jumper to attend our Men and Women's Basketball Double Header against Wooster on February 14, 2009. J.J. will interact with the crowd, give out prizes, perform skits during timeouts, pose for pictures and sign autographs! To learn more about J.J.
