NEW CONCORD, Ohio - The Wittenberg University softball team struggled against another national powerhouse in both games of the doubleheader on Sunday. Muskingum College grabbed a first inning lead in both games and held on tightly to it. The Tigers were unable to respond with any offensive production as they only mustered one hit in each game.

Both Norah Gillam and Taryn Hensel were the starting pitchers for the Tigers, but both of them were outplayed by the Muskingum batswomen, as the Muskies put up 12 and 8 runs respectively. Yet again fielding caused problems for the Tigers as they committed three errors in the first game and two in the second. The Tigers have only been error-free in two games this season.
