Reinhardt Sets Division III Kills Record




SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--- Wittenberg University senior Dawn Reinhardt (Canal Fulton, O./Northwest) set the NCAA Division III record for kills in a career Oct. 10 in victories over Oberlin College and the College of Wooster.

Her career total now stands at 2,151 kills. Reinhardt surpassed former Tiger teammate Kim Woodring who had set the record last season with 2,142 kills in her career.

Wittenberg now holds the top two spots in Division III for career kills, as well as holding several other national records. Last season Beth Nowicki broke the career assist record in Division III with 6,805 and Beth Green who played for the Tigers between 1990-93 holds the Division III career record for digs with 2,317.
