Jan Kehres
DELAWARE, Ohio - Now is the time for the Wittenberg Tigers to round into the form that carried them all the way to the national semifinals in 2005. The Tigers looked sharp in a 3-0 road win over the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops.

Wittenberg improved to 20-6 overall and 10-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference, heading into a tri-match at Denison on Saturday. The Tigers take on perennial conference title contender Denison at 11 a.m. and then play Ohio Athletic Conference rival Heidelberg at 1 p.m. before returning to Springfield.

Against Ohio Wesleyan, the Tigers got a strong performance from junior Jan Kehres (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance), who finished with 16 kills and 21 digs, both second on the team. Junior Emily Bell (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) showed the way on offense with 18 kills, while sophomore Laura Fender (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula) chipped in with 22 digs.

Rounding things out, junior Sarah Matesich (Granville, Ohio/Newark Catholic) distributed 33 assists.
