Box Score
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A 10-0 run early in the second half kickstarted Wittenberg University to a 69-55 win over Case Western Reserve University in the first semifinal game of the Calvin College Tournament. The Tigers improved to 3-2 with the victory, while the Spartans fell to 4-2 overall.

On paper, it would be difficult to pick out the different in this game. Case Western had two more turnovers than Wittenberg, but the Spartans picked off two more rebounds. Wittenberg did shoot eight more free throws, making five more than CWRU, and the Tigers shot 40 percent from the field, as opposed to 27.5 percent for the Spartans.

Wittenberg was paced by the hot shooting of senior guard Kate Rolf (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Carroll), who poured in a game-high 21 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and 7-of-8 shooting from the free throw line. Four of Rolf's field goals were three-pointers. Senior guard Stephanie Campbell (South Charleston, Ohio/Southeastern) added 16 points and junior forward Haley Warden (Loveland, Ohio/Indian Hill) chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds in her first career start.

The win moved the Tigers into the championship game of the Calvin College Tournament against Tri-State, which was a semifinal winner over the host team on Friday.
