SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tiger women golf team honored the program's pioneer head coach Pat Clouse on the weekend of her induction into the Wittenberg Athletic Hall of Honor by taking seventh at Windy Knoll Golf Club in the first-ever Clash at the Clouse.

Leading the way for the Tiger women was senior Jennifer Petro (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart) with rounds of 86 and 82 for a 168 total in the 36-hole event. The second day of competition for the Tigers saw a 17-shot improvement on the difficult par-71 course.

Enjoying a strong second day for the Tigers was freshman Anne Busam (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline), who shot an 84 to go along with an 89 on Day 1 for a 173 total. Freshman Nicole Momsen (Sylvania, Ohio/St. Ursula) had the second-best 18-hole score for the Tigers on the weekend, carding an 83 on Sunday to take a 174 total.

As a team, the Tiger squad finished seventh with a 695 two-day mark in a field filled with nationally ranked competition. DePauw took the team title with a two-day total of 644. Wittenberg's B squad took 10th in the 12-team field, led by freshman Heather Hendrickson (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Bishop Luers) with a 180 two-day total.
