Player of the Week: Amber Cupples Named NCAC Player of the Week![]() |
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg junior Amber Cupples (Wooster, OH/Wooster) scored three goals in each game of the Tigers' 1-1 week. She added two assists in her team's 19-2 defeat of Fontbonne to give her eight points for the week. Cupples leads Wittenberg with 14 points and nine goals through five games. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A promising Spring Break trip came to a disappointing end Thursday when the Wittenberg Tigers dropped a hard-fought 11-9 decision to Widener. Despite the loss, Head Coach Kati Robbins said she felt good about the trip and optimistic about her team's prospects for the rest of the season.
