CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The game was played under adverse weather conditions, but that did not effect the level of play as Wittenberg controlled 90 percent of the possession and kept constant pressure on the Cedarville goal in garnering a 2-1 reserve game win.
Abby Vanderbosch, coming off injury from the weekend, opened up the scoring and brought us into half time up 1-0. After many of the Tigers' quality chances did not find the back of the Cedarville net, the wet conditions provided the chance Cedarville needed to get back in the game. The Yellow Jackets knotted the game at one when a skipping and slippery soccer ball was not cleared by the Wittenberg defense.
Wittenberg quickly responded as Aimee Erney put home the game winner five minutes later. It was Wittenberg's first reserve game of 2004, but it mirrored the style and pace of a team that is in successful late season form.
