The Tigers played very well and had control of the entire game, starting with a dominating first half in which Wittenberg ran out to a 3-0 lead. Goals were scored by freshman Lauren McMahon, then a give and go from McMahon to freshman Dana Makstaller to put it away, and a shot from freshman Taylor Clark to end the half.
In the second half, freshman Emily Ochs served a beautiful ball off a set piece and Clark struck it to make the score 4-0. Lastly, sophomore Brittany Mantell scored an unassisted left-footed shot from about 20 yards out to cap the scoring. Freshman Goalkeeper Jill Underwood held strong protecting her net and came away with a shutout.
After their win against Cedarville, the Reserves travelled to Urbana for yet another tough match - in this case playing full field 11v11. Continuing with the same energy from the previous day, the Tigers won 4-0.
By creating many offensive opportunities, the Tigers again had the run of play the whole game. McMahon started off the Tiger scoring by putting one away in the first half. Early in the second half, McMahon played a through ball to Clark, who took the score to 2-0 for the Tigers. Freshmen Nicole Rose and Marilyn Feil added two more scores. Underwood again successfully picked up another shutout for the Tigers.
