Madison, Ind. -- Freshman forward Kate Williston (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) scored twice to lead Wittenberg to a 6-2 victory over Hanover in a non-conference match. Freshman forwards Jill Rekers (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) and Geri Woessner (Dayton, Ohio/Oakwood) each added a goal and an assist, and Emily Gersbach (Hamilton, Ohio/Badin) and Allison Spansky (Munroe Falls, Ohio/Stow) each scored for the Tigers. Gersbach's goal was her first of the season, and Spansky's was the first of her collegiate career.

Tiger goalkeepers Jen Biehl (Swanton, Ohio/Swanton) and Jenny Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mother of Mercy) combined to make four saves in the game. Wittenberg outshot Hanover 27-6 in the contest.

The Tigers improved to 6-1 on the 2000 campaign and are scheduled to return to action Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. against visiting Ohio Northern.
