The games we play in training are amazing! They are so much fun and at the same time they help us work as a team! - Junior captain Shana Ryan, 1997 NCAC Newcomer of the Year |
I like this program because we are working very hard to accomplish our
goal of building a top class program. This proves to be a difficult
battle, but when we witness progress in the little things like heading,
communication, and 1 vs. 1, the feeling is indescribable in words. This
sense of victory is so rewarding to every lady on this team. We all feel
it and I know this by our actions, our celebrations, and our overall
morale. It is a good feeling that I never want to lose hold of.

midfielder, Jane Curtis |
I love the competitive atmosphere during each training session. It makes
the games in practice so much more fun when everyone is going all out to
get another win! -Senior captain, Allison Shaffer | The one thing I would have to say I enjoy most about the soccer program this year is that I now can associate the words love, desire, and fun with the game of soccer. Instead of it being a chore and dreading practices, I am anxious to learn and develop as a player. My motivation and determination for the game is the best it has ever been.-Junior forward, Laura Schrage |
What I like best about the program this year is the diversity of all
the
different training sessions. I never get bored at practice and I always
have a lot of fun, all the while learning at the same time.-Sophomore
defender, Cassie Bick | One of my
two
favorite things about this season so far is how enjoyable practice
has been. The main reason I like practice is because we're never standing
around; all of us are always active! The second thing I like is how
fitness is fun. It is great because we are getting fit but having fun
while we are doing it. This makes you want to work so much
harder!-Junior defender, Natalie Estep |
Already the upperclassmen here at Witt have made me feel comforable and
included me into the team.-Freshman forward, Sarah Tkacz

Unity, friendship, and fun. This is how I sum up the 1999 Wittenberg
women's soccer program thus far.-Freshman midfielder, Sara
Tawil |
We exist in an environment that is very healthy and beneficial in
creating
winning attitudes that, in turn, will help us win games.-Junior
midfielder, Jess Joseph |
