Tigers Break Double Digit Wins With Capital Win

Anne Beauch
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The scores tell the story of the Tigers dominating victory over Capital, 9-0, as the Tigers extended their winning record to 10-4. Not only did Wittenberg win every set, but no Tiger gave up more than three games in their respective sets.

At No. 2 doubles, sophomore Jayne Miely (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) and freshman Jackie Stevens (Columbus, Ohio/Watterson) remained undefeated and sent their opponent home by an incredible 8-0 victory. Also producing perfect scores were juniors Emily Nash (Hilliard, Ohio/Davidson) and Sean Delaney (Powell, Ohio/Worthington Christian) in the singles competition.

The Tigers look to continue their roll this week when they head to Transylvania on Wednesday, April 8. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
