MS. BRIGITTE GABRIEL
“Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic
Terrorism Warns America”
With a passion and vigor hailing directly from profound experience - the opening salvos of Islamic jihad toward the Western world in the Middle East - Brigitte Gabriel offers a poignant account of a remarkable upbringing. A native of South Lebanon, she survived the first attack of the Lebanese civil war in 1975. Fiercely articulate and passionately committed, Gabriel outlines mistakes the West has made in underestimating the single-mindedness with which radical Islamists have pursued their goals for the past 30 years. A political hawk on international policy, she discusses the threat of radical Islam to world peace and national security. Note: No book bags, back packs or large purses will be permitted in the HPERC Arena during the lecture.
