Dear Wittenberg Parents,

The academic year is beginning soon and whether you are a new parent or an old friend we can all be excited for our students. Classes, sports, activities, and life long friends await our students in a just a few short weeks upon return to campus.

With Wittenberg’s strong academic programs and great record we can rest assured of the quality of education our students will receive. The faculty and staff are always willing to assist and go the extra mile so that our students receive a quality education.

Being the new co-chairman of the Wittenberg Parents Association, we are pleased to invite you to become involved with the Witt community on and off of campus. The Parents Association is committed to helping you and your student make the most of their Wittenberg experience.   The Parents Association supports the Parents Fund, which provides support for a wide variety of Wittenberg programs that your students will certainly benefit from.

We invite you to join us for Family Weekend this year. This is an opportunity to meet other parents and see the campus alive with students, sports, and activities. This year it scheduled for September 25-27, 2009. The Parents Handbook is available online and the is listed link below. The handbook provides necessary information for all new and returning parents, including telephone numbers and the current academic calendar. Faculty and staff members welcome your comments and questions.
