Welcome to the Wittenberg University Archery Club home page. Feel free to look around. The archery club is a fairly new organization on campus, with its beginnings in 2001. However, our numbers are growing rapidly. We have 2 coaches, allowing us to hold practices 3 to 4 times per week. Our practices are set up to best accommodate the schedules of the club members and are determined at the beginning of each school year. The archery club welcomes both new and experienced shooters, and we offer instruction in both compound and Olympic style archery. We accept new shooters through the end of October each year. After that, we begin seriously preparing for the tournament season. However, members are not required to shoot in tournaments. Those that want to can enter tournaments as their schedule permits. As far as equipment is concerned, many of the older members have chosen to buy their own. However, club equipment is available to anyone who needs it, for as long as they need it. So please feel free to come and join us. We’d love to have you. If you have any questions please Bonnie Egan-President |
