The Wittenberg University College Democrats are a diverse group of students who share a common interest in politics. We also seek to improve our college, Springfield, and the hometowns of our members. We are always doing typical political work, such as registering voters and going "door-to-door," for the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates. We also work with local civic and veterans groups to build connections between the university, the students, and the community.
Our membership is very large. At most weekly meetings, we have dozens of students attend to talk, hang out, and work on events. Other meetings may have smaller turnouts. At these, friendly roundtable discussions are common. All members usually band together when major events are taking place. You are welcome to attend whenever you can!
Our officers for the 2004-2005 school year are very dedicated and helpful. The president is Brendan Norman. The vice-president is Alex Kass. Our treasurer is Brian Cataldi. Lastly, our secretary is John Johnson. Our advisor is Dr. Gerry Hudson.
