Gamma Phi Beta is fully committed in their support of philanthropy. Camping has been the international philanthropy since the 1929 Convention. In 2002, the sorority voted to enter into a collaborative agreement with Camp Fire USA. Gamma Phi Beta is now a proud supporter of Camp Fire USA, a non-profit organization focused on building self-esteem, character development, leadership skills, and social responsibility of children. Chapters support local camps through fundraising.

The women of the Alpha Nu chapter focus locally on Camp Joy. We hold two philanthropy events a year in order to send underprivileged children to camp. In the fall, the sorority organizes Moonball, a moonlit volleyball tournament complete with glow-in-the-dark necklaces. Alpha Nu also hosts the annual student and faculty spaghetti dinner in the spring; all you can eat spaghetti and breadsticks!
