We Had A Beautiful Year!

Kicking off the new year at the North A.M.E. Church!

Church home to Johnny Pryor (Philosophy Adjunct Instructor at Witt) who invited us to sing for their College Day.

Trying on our new threads at our Winter Concert 2005!

IMANI has spent years trying to get robes!  We constantly had the conflict of not having enough funds, but this year we were truly blessed!  We hope these robes can be a symbol of prayer and faith in God. We know for a fact Allah performs miracles and answers prayer daily! Amen.

Here we are at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Spring 2007

This was an incredibly powerful experience.  Our speaker was Charlayne Hunter-Gault, who was phenomenal and brought me (Carolyn Seymour) to tears.  I was utterly touched by her honesty and truthfulness as she gave us a piece of the past.  Imani closed with an old Negro spiritual, that none of us knew, but we sang by Hunter-Gault's direction.  It was a beautiful and moving experience, Imani will never forget.

Our Spring Concert was a Blast!
