On censored the censored at censored hrs you are to arrive promptly at censored of the censored. There you will meet with myself, High Inquisitor Leonius Mattieus Warvell, and possibly my associate Inquisitor Erikson Elbator. You will receive the proper indoctrination and outfitting for your duties as an Acolyte of the Inquisition.
There are tomes that you may wish to acquire before arriving. These tomes can be found and the Librarium Thomas, listed under the Special Collections for the RPGuild. There should be two tomes containing the fundamentals titled Dark Heresy, as well as two other tomes known as the Inquisitors handbooks. While I know there are more of you than copies of the tomes, so I'll be bringing forth from our personal library copies of the books to help with the indoctrination and outfitting. You may also decide to share the tomes and even the knowledge found in those tomes amongst yourselves. I recommend this as you will need to rely on each other more often than note in the face of the mallus that haunts the Universe.
Be aware that in the first set of tomes, titled Dark Heresy, there is knowledge that is forbidden to new acolytes. These chapters are not meant for you to explore or try and divine its meanings. These chapters XII and XIII, should be left alone. As a test of your mettle of coming into close contact with dangerous knowledge you may read the rest of the chapters but these two are strictly forbidden to you!
Inventory slates for your indoctrination and outfitting will be provided for by the Emperor through me his High Inquisitor. So you have no need to bring what in common-parlance are known as Character Sheets.
As Acolytes you are expected to bring at least the following items:
Food and drink are permissiable, but computer devices should not be brought as you are expected to leave your attention to the task at hand. There will be plenty enough going on in your adventures that you should not need such distractions as provided for by a computer device.
The indoctrination and outfitting should be completed no later than censored hours, and maybe even earlier, if the Emperor dines to shine his illuminating light upon our endevours in this.
Leonius Mattieus Warvell, High Inquisitor
