Earlier today a group of goons attempted a back robbery at a local bank, but were stopped by the newest super group United Supers. The group of goons consisted of eleven guys, none of who were supers themselves, and thus turned over to the local authorities. Because the goons had yet to be arraigned, and the fact most of them were unconscious we could not talk to them.
Betty Hartleton, a bank teller with the bank, was working the teller window when the goons came into the bank. “I had just finished helping a customer when in walked this group of guys. One short guy was standing in front of these two big huge muscle bound guys. Behind them were two tall guys with shot-guns and then a few others with machine guns. The guys with the machine guns fired them into the ceiling, and the short guy at the front yelled that this was a bank robbery, and everyone should get out now. At that point they goons stepped to the side as they herded out of the bank, the big muscle guys actually walked up to the security guards and knocked them out just by tapping them on the heads, and then threw them out the door. At that point everyone else just dropped what they were doing and ran out the front door.”
The rest of what follows comes from watching the security camera footage that the local authorities allowed the press to review.
The goons made their way back into the cubicle office area of the bank herding the employees out the front door, while a group of machine gun totting goons were left at the front door. Then an armored vehicle arrived at the back loading dock after the driver overrode the locked door. Shortly after that bank was cleared out apparently the big muscled guys pulled the door off the bank vault. Then the United Supers arrived on the scene.
It seemed like the United Supers spent a minute or two figuring out their plan, when suddenly That Kid rushed out of the United Supers moss covered van. That Kid started running up the steps of the bank to the front door waving a dollar bill. The camera’s have no audio so we cannot hear what happened, but there is an exchange between That Kid and the goon at the door, that ends when the goon fires a shot at the foot of That Kid. This doesn’t deter That Kid and at the insistence of the two other goons at the door the first goon pushes That Kid down the steps.
This is when Kibi suddenly teleports next to one of the goons. Kibi along with a charge from That Kid knock out the three goons at the front door. The Green Stalker and I/O then charge up the steps following Kibi and That Kid into the Bank. In the bank Kibi, the Green Stalker and That Kid manage to take out few more of the goons, while I/O was knocked out of the situation when he took a shotgun blast to the chest. At one point it appeared as if That Kid was going to be strangled by the short leader of the goons, but he quickly wrenched the rope from his neck. Then That Kid tackles one of the muscle bound goons, while the Green Stalker and Kibi take care of the rest of the goons. Until the short leader of the goon squad tries to run out the back door, but seeing he has no escape surrenders.
This is because at the back of the bank Zor blasted his way through the chain gate. Then when the driver of the Armored Vehicle spotted him, the driver tried to run down Zor, but of all the things on the Armored Vehicle the tires are not armored, and Zor blasts out two of the tires. The armored vehicle still manages to move around though, and continues to try and run down Zor, but Zor being able to fly, easily gets out of the way. After a few more blaster hits on the vehicle the front glass is nearly knocked out, as well as the back door. Suddenly the Vehicle charges out and down the alley, but Zor takes out one of the remaining tires causing the vehicle to spiral hard into the alley wall knocking out the driver.
The leader of the goons manages to get to the back door, but seeing his get-a-way vehicle disabled, he surrenders to the United Supers.
BoSH was proud to say that under the supervision of Dynamo, the United Supers team was turning into a well managed team of supers that will bring more criminals to justice in the near future. John Smith, spokesman for BoSH, went on to confirm that United Supers was also the team sent to take care of the incident earlier at the Chicken Hutt.
