Today around 2:30pm at the 5/3rd bank on lower South street, the United Supers showed up to stop Central American themed Super-Villains. The robbery initially started when three Super-Villains entered the back and announced their intentions to rob it. The people who did not immediately flee some how had the strength drained from them and quickly fell unconscious on the floor. Once the bank occupants were unconscious, the youngest super-villain began to tear the door off the bank vault while the leader watched over him, and the other bigger villain kept watch on the entrance to the bank.
Shortly after this all began the United Supers team arrived on the scene in their green-eco-van. Quickly the team exited the van, and appeared to gather for a short tactical session, but before they decided on a plan of action, a never before seen member of the team charged into the bank, only to be tossed back out of the bank by the big villain inside the bank.
The big villain, later determined as a super-villian named Montezuma, marched outside and after tossing the green-eco-van, was quickly entangled and surrounded by the United Supers team. It then appears one of the team members teleported the big villain away from the scene. Inside the team managed to stop the other villains before they could actually rob the bank. In the process one of the villains, later named as the Aztec, managed to flee the scene through a back door.
The people in the bank came back to consciousness a short time later, and reported only a few minor injuries sustained when they fell to the floor. It is not known if the villains were after money or something else in the bank, nor where the lead villain fled to. Due to the Bureau of Super-Heroes standard practice of not commenting on the dispositions of Supers in their custody, it is not know the status of the big villain who was teleported away from the scene.
A Jane Ardle did comment to the Herald reporters that she was not sure, but she thinks she recognized the young boy with the villains as a member of the United Supers team. "While I did not get much time to see the young boy, since I passed out almost as quickly as I saw the villains entering the bank, it sure looked like the young boy who was sitting at the table with the United Supers at Wario's restaurant. I was at the restaurant with my husband when it was attacked by some people in a dark car."
John Smith, BoSH spokesman, had this to say about the bank robbery, "the United Supers team was called into stop a team of super-villains from robbing the bank, and managed to detain one of the villains, Montezuma, while the other super-villain, The Aztec, did manage to make an escape. We are actively trying to track The Aztec. Meanwhile the rest of the United Supers team is in good health and spirits after preventing the bank robbery."
When the Herald reporter mentioned the fact that the super-villain team was reported to be made-up of three people, including young boy, John Smith only replied with "no comment at this time."
It is believed that the third member of the Super-Villain team was a United Super team member named, That Kid, and might have been under the influence of The Aztec's known mental abilities.
