Mr. Franklin Theodore is currently under arrest after a nefarious super working for the local police entrapped him. "I was talking to this young man, but when I bought him a drink he suddenly transformed into this kid," said Mr. Theodore. "He had to be a Super trying to entrap me, because the club would not allow a young kid in. He only changed into a young kid after I bought him a drink, thus making it appear as if I was giving alcohol to a minor."
The Tattler talked to a few witnesses at the nightclub, both of who spoke only on condition of anonymity, probably for fear of reprisals. They both admitted to not seeing the young kid in question at the club, backing Mr. Theodore's story about the super being an adult. Only when they were leaving the club, as it was being closed, did the witnesses see the super in his changed form as a kid. "That kid looked like he was totally liquored up, and was green to the gills as a result," said witness number one. "I only saw that kid as he was being put into the police car outside. But he looked sickly green and about ready to throw up," said the second witness.
The green color of the young kid, and the presence of gills, points to that kid being a Super with the ability to change from an adult to the appearance of a young kid. This seems to point to a new tactic by the Bureau of Super Heroes and the local police to entrap people. When asked why they would target him specifically Mr. Theodore said, "It is because I'm being persecuted for my lifestyle."
Is this a sign of the Bureau and local police targeting those of alternate lifestyles? The statement is corroborated by The Tattler with information that the police have closed down Vibe, the night club where Mr. Theodore was entrapped by the age changing Super. Vibe is a local nightclub known for being a safe place for those of alternate lifestyles to hang out. Is this just the beginning of Supers using dirty tricks, such as entrapment, to help the police shutdown such safe places for those of lifestyles not generally approved of by the government.
It is believed that the drug charges against Mr. Theodore may also be trumped up, since it is not unbelievable that if a super would entrap a man, it would also be possible for them to make up further charges as well. It is not beyond the reasoning of the reporters here at The Tattler that the charges against Vibe, will be shown to be more falsehoods by the Police and their now secret collaboration with the Bureau.
Of course when asked about the entrapment and secret collaboration John Smith or the Bureau of Super Heroes tried to cover his office by saying, "This accusations are not true and we have no further comment on such plain falsities."
The Tattler will keep an eye on such super dirty tricks by those who purport to be helping us. What are we to do when those who are to protect from the dirty deeds of evil villains use those same deeds to persecute us?
