2005-01-18 Guild Meeting Notes

For those of you who are too lazy/forgot/don't care about our monthly
meetings, here's an up-date anyway:
First of all, good news! There are already 28 people signed up for WittCon
this coming March!
WittCon will cost $5 dollars at the door, but if you are planning on
participating in extra tournments such as War Hammer or Magic, it costs
extra. Be aware.
WE NEED DMs! Though many numbers were thrown around, it sounds like 18
games will probably be run through the course of the day, so unless the DMs
never get a chance to play themselves, we need volunteers! So far was have
Adam Johnson running a D&D game, myself with Oriental Adventures, and
according to Andy, Karl will be running both Starwars and D&D, and Lionel
possibly Paranoia. If you can run anything, please let us know asap, and get
crack'n.
There *will* be a costume contest, be warned now.
We've all agreed Howling Wolf is being very very nice, and we like them
Maranda(?), Emily, Jeanne, and Will are now in charge of campus
advertisement for the Con
Orc and Pie and various other stories (including the amazingness of the
evil champaign) were once again recounted for everyone's amusement, we'll be
having another meeting in Feb. with even *more* details, and we miss Simon
for his ability to maxamize a character.
**LASTLY** Reminder for those who are still looking for games this semester:
Karl(s06.kschmitt), Andy (s05.aklosky), and Callon(s06.cholloway) still have
room in their games. For more details, please contact them. If there is
enough interest, I can run a second Oriental champaign, I know I had to turn
down 2 or 3.
