On Aug. 17, 2006, 185 first-year students moved into Wittenberg’s new state of the arts residence hall on the corner of Alumni Way and Cassilly Street. The three-story hall sits next to the Benham-Pence Student Center and boasts 49,249 square feet of living space and 157 rooms. The new residence hall includes three technology labs and three laundry rooms, one on each of the floors, and 13 lounge areas, spread throughout the building. The lounges have computers with Internet connections and comfortable furnishings that create unique spaces for students to conduct study sessions, group meetings or to congregate with friends. Each room has high-speed Internet connections and cable hook-ups as well. |
