Resources for Making Effective Decisions

Individual Career Consulting

The process of integrating the information you collect about yourself and career options can be a challenge. Many students find it helpful to talk through the options they are considering. If you are having difficulty identifying or researching options, we can assist you with these steps as well. You are encouraged to schedule an appointment with one of the Career Services directors - that's what we are here for!

Decision-Making Tools

People vary in what they find to be helpful when making decisions - some prefer a structured method, while others find an intuitive approach to be useful. The following worksheets represent a variety of decision-making aids with which to experiment.

Worksheet #1 - rational approach for comparing options

Worksheet #2 - for evaluating your decision-making strategies

Worksheet #3 - intuitive approach for comparing options
