Get The "Scoop" on Service-New Students Days Sunday, August 23rd 1-2pm
Join the Community Service Office for an ice cream social. Create donations for several local non-profit organizations, learn about community service opportunities in Springfield and meet other students passionate about service. You will also have a chance to register for the 2nd Annual New Student Service Plunge happening on September 5th, from noon - 4 p.m. Please bring a donation of a school supply item to help support local children as they start their school year.

Students will be going to various sites in Springfield to do community service. Before they leave for their site they will have lunch with the community service office to have some discussion on why service. Students will be painting, cleaning, and landscaping in the Springfield community. Registration is available on the homepage starting on August 19, 2009.
